Accessory Tripods, Flash Units, Lens Hoods, Filters and Shutter Release Cables
Iloca Stereo II with Accessories
There are many period accessories available to suit the Iloca range of cameras. In general, older accessories such as flash units and tripods make good display items, but are no longer practical for regular use. Early flash units require flash bulbs and battery types which, if not obsolete, are difficult to source. Similarly, many early tripods tend to be less stable and practical than their modern day counterparts.
So if function is important, you will be better served with more recent accessories. Most Iloca cameras include tripod sockets and PC flash contacts that are compatable with later equipment, and flash synchronisation on these cameras seems to work well with most electronic flash units.
Lens hoods, filters and shutter release cables are a different matter - suitable items from any era can be used.
For display purposes, however, nothing enhances these old cameras in the same way as some carefully chosen accessories from the right era.
